On the afternoon of January 10, 2018, Xing Shutao, bridge structural engineer of Department of Transportation of Virginia, USA, was invited to giveacademic reports entitled "Analysis of Design and Installation of Marine Risers" and "Design and Maintenance of American Bridges". The report was presided over by Mr. Sun Zhiguo, and some teachers and students from the Department of Disaster Prevention Engineering attended the meeting.
At the reports, Dr. Xing Shutao showed the structural design and installation analysis of offshore riser and pipeline project in combination with practical engineering.
